Directions to Elliot Bay Marina (next to Palisade restaurant in Magnolia)

The marina can be a bit tricky to find on the first try but if you follow these directions you’ll *probably* get there without any wrong turns.

Once you’re at the marina, our dock is towards the very west end of the facility. Be sure to park in the Guest parking area.

We’re on the “C” dock at slip 48. When you arrive call my mobile (206.409.7589) and we’ll come let you in at the dock’s gate.

  1. Get to Denny Way and head west.   As Denny gets close to the water the street turns to the north and becomes Elliott Avenue
  2.  Drive north on Elliott Avenue and stay in the right lane
  3.  Continue on Elliott Avenue until you come to the exit for the Magnolia Bridge
Note: The right most lane on Elliott Avenue will become an “exit only” lane for the Magnolia Bridge. There are also some inconspicuous brown signs for “Elliott Bay Marina” right before the exit.
  4.  As you turn onto the exit ramp it will split into two lanes – stay to the right
  5.  At this point you will be headed west across the Magnolia Bridge – there is an exit from the bridge on the right hand side – take this exit
  6.  At the bottom of the exit turn left – this street goes past a small park (on the right) and then the street turns west and uphill to the marina
  7. Drive to the end of the street.  Take a left into the last parking lot driveway.  Park close to the dumpsters at “C Dock”, but make sure you are in Guest parking.  The rows nearest to the street are Guest parking.

Note: If you’re coming from Ballard, you can ignore the directions above. Just go south across the Ballard bridge and continue south until you come to the Magnolia bridge. You can either take a very sharp right turn onto the bridge (go to step 6 above) or you can go a bit further and use the left turn light to get onto the overpass (go to step 5 above).
